This analytical study explores the viewpoints of rural students in Tripura with reference to Sanskrit education. This study aims to shed light on the attitudes, challenges, and aspirations of students regarding Sanskrit education by focusing on the understudied rural areas. The investigation attempts to separate the factors influencing students' decisions to pursue or forego a Sanskrit education, considering financial, social, and educational determinants. It does this by using a mixed methods approach that combines overviews and subjective meetings.
