The goal of the current study is to demonstrate a distinction between human development as seen in conventional conceptions of welfare economics and Islamic jurisprudence at the micro level. Economic growth refers to the capacity of the national economy, which can be raised by an increase in the gross domestic product on an annual basis. Therefore, the primary objective of economic growth was to increase the rate of gross national product per person. With the assumption that everyone would advance as the total national GDP per capita rose, issues of poverty and inequality have been solved.
