The study is a critical analysis of the theme of moral decadence together with the strategies towards survival as adopted in some of the novels. The study, based on qualitative analysis of the repeated motifs and literary devices, single out some main manifestations of the moral decadence such as corruption, the domination of the power, social inequality, devolution of the familial and communal ties. The analysis has come up to show that the issue of social injustice stands out as the theme that is most dominant, creating the pattern that systemic failures play a role in ethical decay. To stay alive in these hostile conditions, characters resort to differently built survival mechanisms, including moral compromise and psychological endurance to rebellion and withdrawal, which is indicative of different ways in which individuals bargain their agency in crisis conditions. Moreover, the work investigates the mechanisms of how settings of politically repressive regime and war-torn societies enhance the sense of moral struggle, whereas the literary tools of symbolism, irony, and non-linear narrative further enhance the psychological and emotional relevance of the given themes. Finally, through the experience in this paper, it is important to underline the literature ability to reflect the societal corruption coupled with the individualistic survival skill of human characters that experience a moral dilemma
